We cannot leave the young alone to find the right path for themselves.
We cannot leave them prey to the many who speak to them
only to satisfy personal interests
We must train:
- Awareness of the need for continuous improvement.
- The ability to accept mistakes and defeats, experiencing them as the only opportunities that allow for improvement.
- The pleasure of committing to achieve their dreams.
- The belief that the emotional experiences felt during training and competition are a way to learn to manage themselves in the moments of greatest intensity and stress in their lives.
- The ability to be happy and proud of themselves.
- The ability to respect opponents and referees.
- The ability to accept difficulties as an essential part of every performance, even when one is truly well-prepared to compete.
